Assistant District Attorney Lisa Jordan Dale

​Lisa Jordan Dale is an experienced litigation attorney licensed to practice law in the States of Mississippi and Louisiana. Lisa has maintained a private law practice for thirty-three (33) years and has successfully litigated cases at all levels of State and County Courts, including oral arguments before the Court of Appeals for the State of Mississippi.

​

Lisa was elected Judge for the Municipal Court of Natchez in 2016 and re-elected in 2020 to serve a second term. As Municipal Court Judge, Lisa presides over all Misdemeanor, DUI and Traffic cases and all Felony cases through the Preliminary Hearing and Bind Over to the Grand Jury that occur in the City of Natchez.

Prior to being elected Judge, Lisa served as the Prosecutor in Municipal Court for fifteen (15) years and as a former Public Defender in Circuit Court and Municipal Court for twelve (12) years. 

​

A graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Lisa obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Mississippi and studied abroad at Downing College of the University of Cambridge in England.

​

Lisa has taken an active role in professional organizations including the Mississippi Municipal Judges Association, Mississippi Prosecutors Association, Adams County Bar Association, Mississippi Public Defenders Association, Mississippi Bar Association, and Louisiana Bar Association.

​

Lisa, and her husband, George Mayers, are active in various community organizations and members of Jefferson Street United Methodist Church.
