Christina “Cricket” Ferrell Daugherty

Christina grew up in Natchez and graduated from Natchez High School. She then received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University before obtaining her Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi in 2000. After graduating from law school, Christina moved to Franklin, Tennessee, where she began her law career at the Williamson County Attorney’s Office of Buerger, Moseley and Carson, PLLC. She continued serving the public sector at the Office of the District Attorney for the 20th Judicial District in Nashville before taking a position as the 21st Judicial District Drug Task Force Prosecutor where she was responsible for the prosecution of all major drug crimes within the district. Christina went on to establish Daugherty, Haas & Associates, PLLC, with Kelli Haas, Esquire, and eventually opened a branch of DHA in Natchez when she returned home to be closer to family in 2014. In 2016, Christina moved into the field of education and received her Administrator’s License from the Midsouth Association of Independent Schools after the completion of graduate work at Delta State University in 2017. She held the position of Headmaster of Trinity Episcopal Day School before moving on to become Vice Principal at Adams County Christian School. In January 2024, Christina moved back into the law arena when she was named Municipal Court Judge for the City of Natchez before running unopposed in the subsequent election that same year. Christina, affectionately known as “Cricket” to her peers, lives in Natchez with her husband, Shane, and their two children.
